When one of the best gets better, you'll ride with more confidence - rain or shine, hot or cold, city or highway. With its new XST Evo sipes, the Michelin Road 5 tires stop faster in the wet than any other tires in the category. The new compounds are specially formulated to provide excellent grip on a wide range of road surfaces, including painted lines and pedestrian crossings, making it easier for you to ride with confidence in virtually all conditions.
  • A USED 3k mi. Road 5 tire stopped on a water soaked road in the same place as a BRAND NEW Pilot Road 4 tire thanks to the revolutionary patented MICHELIN XST Evo water drop sipes, which grow wider mile after mile.
  • Improved dry grip, stability and handling thanks to Michelin’s patented ACT+ casing technology and the 2CT+ dual compound technology.

Did Michelin indicate if the 5 is expected to last longer than the 4s? It's amazing how they continue to improve wet weather performance and I'm hoping the changes "to all the above" in the design also provides a dividend in longer expected/potential tire life in apples to apples use.

My Dunlop RS3s I ordered from you have been great so far, but I'm always looking for the next set of tires.

Cheers
