    Details

The MICHELIN Commander II creates a new standard with regard to durability, yet without making any compromises in terms of wet weather grip, maneuverability or stability. This performance balance provides yet another eloquent illustration of Michelin's research and development philosophy: no performance gain to be achieved on one front to the detriment of another. Aramid fibers, used in aerospace and military technology, and Michelin Amplified Density Technology work in tandem to extend the tire’s lifespan while maintaining the high levels of handling and stability you’ve come to expect. Brand new tread patterns disperse water more efficiently, giving you outstanding grip no matter what the road throws at you.
    • Rubber compounds provide remarkable wet grip, without compromising durability.
    • Adt (Amplified Density Technology) provides a highly dense more rigid tire casing which helps deliver excellent feedback and handling in all conditions.
    • The square bead-wire package improves casing rigidity, handling and ease of installation.
    • Silica Rain Technology (SRT) which integrates silica into the compound of the tire tread, while the MICHELIN Commander II's tread pattern has been designed to prevent all forms of uneven wear.
    • The exclusive architecture of the MICHELIN Commander II brings both maneuverability and stability. The tire's more rigid, high-density carcass improves maneuverability, while the aramid fiber crown ply of the rear tire enhances resistance and lightness for impeccable stability, even at high speeds.
    • The numerous longitudinal grooves of the tire's tread pattern optimize water dispersal for outstanding wet weather grip.
    • A radically different design for an explosive look. A "premium" sidewall finish gives your motorcycle an immaculate appearance.

    Great cruiser tire
Smooth ride, doesn't wander, tracks straight and grips like glue when powering through the twisties. Seems to be wearing very well after 6K miles. Whats not to like? I'll buy another one.

    Great ride
I installed a set of these on my Roadstar replacing the Pirelli's that I have been running. I have gotten more miles and the handling has also improved.

    Second Set
I previously had a set of these on an 05 RoadKing. The tread life on these tires are great. I think they ride much smoother than the stock Dunlops. These are the only after market tire I have run, but have always liked the quality tires that Michelin produces. I have these on a 2014 FLHX.

    Michelin Commander Front Tire
Have switched the front and rear tires on my 2012 HD Switchback to Power Commanders. Mileage has almost doubled and the performance is super, in both wet and dry conditions. On rear, have increased from 10 K to 18k and the front is changed every second time. Love these tires and now that they are available in a 21" front and 18" rear, am switching my 2000 Dyna Wide Glide to these as well. Cheers!

    nice tire!
I decided to try this tire because of High mileage claims and good price. Riders Domain is awesome with great price and super speedy delivery. I've only had it on for a week and 300 miles but so far I like the way it rides and handles. It also has a cool sidewall and tread pattern, so if I get good mieage and tread life, I will be more than pleased with it. As soon as my rear wears out a little more, I'll be installing the matching rear.

I have a Vulcan 1500 Classic and put Michelin Commander II tires on it and have got the best mileage on these tires ever! I have put 17 rear and 12 fronts on my 1600 Vulcan and about 6 rears and 3 fronts on my 1500 Vulcan, Michelin Commander II's have beat them all... 87K on the 1600 and 46K on the 1500....

What is the difference between the Mt90B/16 (72H) and the 130 90B/ 16 (73H)? Want the best one for my heritage softail!
    Nick D on Aug 21, 2017
BEST ANSWER: The sizes are virtually the same, one is just the metric conversion. As for your Softail, you should go with the size that has the most applicable speed rating, though either will perform well.
    What does 73H mean?
    A shopper on Nov 24, 2016
BEST ANSWER: The 73 Refers to the road rating for the tire which is 805 lbs. and the H refers to the speed rating of up to 130 mph.
