Another great tire
I have been running with this D404 on the front of my 2001 LC for many years now.

This as to be the best tire on the market for NOT cupping. It has an excellent rubber compound which is uniform right across the thread.

Most tires that I seen had cupping issues because of the different rubber compound (hardness) use on the center and side of the thread.

If the tire has a hard rubber compound in the center of the thread, both sides of the threaded area will wear out and create some cupping issues making your bike very unstable in turns and/or long sweepers.

This tire should get 10 stars !!

Can you use a tube with this tire?
Tyler H on Mar 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Hi Tyler. I use tires that are OEM on all my motorcycles. Both of my Harley's use Dunlop tires and that's all I buy for them. They wear great and I keep them inflated at 40 PSI. I use tubes in my 404's on my Road King, Deluxe and Ultra. The Deluxe, since it is a spoked wheel, also gets a new tire band every time I change the tires. Definitely recommend these tires and I haven't found a place to beat Wilson's tire prices. I also pay a local shop $20 to mount them. Definitely beats $335 at the dealer. Good luck and hope this helps.

Can you use a tube with this tire?
A shopper on Mar 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Yes. I use this tire a lot on Yamaha V-Star bikes which run spokes. Just make sure your tube and band are in good condition as they wear just like the tire does. Good tire choice. Hope this helps.
