Motorcycle Windscreens and Windscreen Mounting Hardware

We know that sportbikes are all about performance, but having a sleek looking bike is pretty nice too. Add comfort and convenience on the ride and you’re set. Combat the wind as you ride by installing a windshield or windscreen to your motorcycle. Deflecting the gust so that you aren’t getting a direct face full of wind can make for a much more enjoyable ride. We have windshields and windscreens from great brands like Puig, Hot Bodies Racing, Zero Gravity, and more that deflect the flow of the wind and add a sleek style to your motorcycle as well. Great wind shield. A couple quirks.

Right out of the packaging the Puig windscreen appears to be very well made and durable. The dark smoke color didn’t quite match up with the triple black of my 2017 BMW GSA, so I’m switching to the clear model. The Puig windshield is 110 cm taller which forces your eyes to be concentrated high on the road with the dark smoke tint. This could be good or bad depending on the situation. Switching to a clear version should allow me to look down in front of the motorcycle better. I am 6’2.5” y’all and mostly torso with shorter legs. This windshield moved the wind flow over top of my helmet. Very minimal wind noise now. Less cold air around my neck as well. I noticed that the handlebar hits the side of the windshield when I turned it to its furthest position to lock the handlebars. I doubt I would turn the handlebars this far while driving. Bumping the windshield repeatedly with the handlebar may eventually cause it to crack. I’ve only risen with the windshield in the full upright position so far.
