Mark your calendars because on September 7th at Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, Ducati plans to officially unveil its new V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine.
Ducati hasn’t made a secret of its plans to replace the V-Twin powerplant atop its Panigale line, releasing details of its 1299 Panigale R Final Edition back in July. Spy shots and speculation have been making the rounds as well in regards to the impending update and this event won’t be an entire bike release, just the presentation of the V4.
Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali indicated back in July during the release of the Final Edition that the new V4 would produce a little more than 200 hp, and that the mill has been in development for close to four years.
Stay tuned for more details, coming next week.
