MV Agusta announced today that it’s restructuring its North American distributor operations.
Current Australian MV motorcycle importer, Urban Moto Group Pty Ltd. will take over distribution and marketing responsibilities in the US and Canada. MV Agusta’s USA Pennsylvanian office and staff will remain in place and expand into California — presumably for greater access to the American motorcycling world.
“We are very excited to build a successful relationship with Urban Moto Group as a new partner also overseeing and developing the presence of MV Agusta in the USA market,” said Giovanni Castiglioni, CEO of MV Agusta.
“Urban Moto has a remarkable track record in delivering a strong dealership network, backed with excellent customer service and dealer support,” he continues. “We are very confident that with Urban Moto we will enter in a new era for MV Agusta in the States, invigorating sales and passion for our motorcycles.”
For the last few years MV Agusta has been quiet in the US. It also hasn’t had a useable press motorcycle fleet. Hence bike tests and reviews are few and far between. Hopefully this restructuring will remedy things allowing members of the media to tell the awesome story of MV and its exquisite machines.

The MV Agusta Turismo Veloce RC is dressed for the track, but built for the open road.
