MV Agusta is offering a limited edition 2017 Brutale 800 America, which pays tribute to the company’s America range from the 1970s and celebrates the relationship between MV and the US.
There will be 50 units produced, to honor each of the 50 states, and MSRP is listed at $14,998. They go on sale July 2017 in the States.
The red, white and blue colorway is the highlight of the model, similar to the livery used on the 1973 MV Agusta 750 S. The seat, rear fender and side radiator panel have custom aesthetic touches also. MV laser cuts a sequential production number beside the “America Special Edition” logo on the triple clamp of each machine. Mechanically speaking, this is a 2017 Brutale 800 Euro 4 platform, a 798cc Triple capable of 109 horsepower at 11,500 rpm and 61 lb-ft at 7600 rpm.
If you’re heading to World Superbike at Laguna Seca, July 7-9, make sure to find MV’s set-up. The company will be conducting the official unveiling of the Brutale 800 America, and you’ll have a chance to see the machine up close.
